What is Storiteler Arts?
Storiteler Arts emerged as a stall in the refurbished historic Cardigan Guildhall Market over the summer of 2024. He is very practiced in working with encaustic wax, which involves melting wax colours with heated tools. He also works with other mediums like acrylics and Fineline marker pens. That summer stall concluded at the end of September 2024. However, Michael continues to work creatively with imagery, art and artisan crafts. … like slates!

Michael is a creative artist who began as a carpenter, then was a wood turner in his father’s business for 15 years. After that he worked for over 35 years in molten wax colours, known as encaustic art. His work is always completely unique, whatever the medium. His encaustic wax images often offer exciting and strong imagery, especially in the fantasy and spiritual fantasy areas. But he also enjoys landscape paintings, as well as abstract designs. He is well known for this work within the encaustic art community around the world. He created a range of products which allow anyone to begin this technique.
